A few things to know about me. I'm the staff writer at Hue, the alumni magazine for the Fashion Institute of Technology. I also take on freelance writing assignments as time permits. In May 2011 I graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with an MFA in creative writing (and a novel in search of an agent). I am formerly the senior associate editor at O at Home, Oprah's interior-design magazine, and before that, a reporter and feature-writer at Meetings & Conventions magazine.
